Gargoyles

Last week, I was a volunteer for a camp at Duke called Spring Fling.  This is the second year we have done it.  The camp is for the children of Campus Services Employees.  We take them to see all the fun nooks and crannies Duke has to offer. (Dukespringfling.blogspot.com) One third grader named Jamesha came to camp one day wearing a shirt that said,”Nobody Cares about your Blog”.  I laughed when I saw it because I had started a personal blog about sailing and I was afraid nobody cared abouut it until I realized that I did.  I’ve been writing that blog for about 3 months.  I wanted to see if I could make a committment to blogging and actually have something valuable that other people would find entertaining or useful to read.  I have had some good feedback so now I am going to venture into blogging about the program I coordinate at Duke.  I hope you find it interesting and come back for more.
